    Wiedmann wide-pin Flak Badge

    Hi guys,

Here is a wide-pin E. Ferd. Wiedmann Flak Badge that I bought this past weekend at the MAX Show. I actually saw two of these wide-pin versions at the MAX, but I opted for this one because it was in nicer condition and cheaper too.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Another nice pick up Tom, pretty uncommon to find these wide pin Wiedmanns.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Here is a needle pin Wiedmann Flak Badge that I bought yesterday at a gun show. Unfortunately, it is missing the pin, but I bought it for $50 because of that issue. Some of the details are a bit weak on this example, but I'm sure that it is original. This is the first Wiedmann Flak I've owned with the maker marking stamped below the catch. All the other examples I've had over the years, be they needle pin or wide pin variations, have had the maker marking stamped into the center reverse. But originals can be found with the marker mark in either spot.

                            Best regards,
                            Tom
