Thank you for your and knowledge on this topic.

Am I correct to assume that this example is a correct war time example. It is interesting that the dealer has four of the same cased award (silver bomber clasp) on offer for sale.

I might attemt to down load pics of all four examples for interest sake and discussion.

As I have stated all these examples are cased and all awards come from the same dealer. Should this lead to thinking the dealer is suspect, or is it that the dealer just has four of the samed cased silver bomber clasps for sale.

Again thank you for your professional advice.

And here are two gold examples that are both cased and are for sale from the same dealer.

All of these examples have the same catch hinge and pin setup and have all it appears to have comre from the same dye.

Frank would you please be able to throw some light to why the dealer has so many of the same cased awards in both silver and gold.

Should buyers be cautious of this dealer, or is it the award itself. Are these a new fake that is starting to show up on the world market.

Nelly, there are indeed very good fakes of flight clasps around and some of these pics are not good enough to be 100% sure. Generally, they look ok though. I see example #1 the best on your pics and also like it the most. If I would have to make a decision to buy one based on these pics, I would go for #1.
Does #3 have the wings of the application connected or is that just a terrible picture?
                              Cheers, Frank

Yes No 3 does have the wings of the application connected. I have to apolagise about the pics. It is the best I can do.
