Need an ok or no-way on this GAB

I am a little skeptical, can you show some closeups of the hinge and catch and rivets?

Some poor detailing on this one, especially around the eagle.

Agrre with Tom, something about the material, details and reverse hardware doesn't look right to me as well. No chance right now to confirm if the eagle is the correct one and not the one typically seen on the RK and MuK5 fakes, but I think it's the correct eagle with soft details or blemishes (something looks funny about those talons) that make me think it's a repro.

Quick edit - seeing Peter's post that came in while I was typing, I'm even more convinced this is a newer and maybe not yet seen repro. Peter, if you or someone else could post some decent shots of the front side of an original RK LWGAB, I think Tom and the rest will be able to make a final determination.

That's the one, Peter, and thanks.

Here is a link to the fake one I posted - http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=250580. As you should be able to see, there is enough difference between the eagle on yours, the eagle on my fake, and the eagle on Peter's original to compare them all and see the differences, as well as the various other differences between the other parts of the badges . I still think the one that started this thread is a repro, but time for me to back out and let those with a better eye for detail than I make their judgements.
