PILOT BADGE Help please

Hi
Sorting through my dads old stuff years back brought up this Luftwaffe badge.
I'm no expert when it comes to this kind of thing so I'm seeking opinions on authenticity and then maybe origins etc.
Your help is much appreciated.
The markings on the rear seem to be something like numbers 900. It is heavy and has the feel of silver? The relief on the surround is quite deep.

Are these bomber/fighter pilot badges or did they all wear the same badges.
Is this one made up from 2 badges then, if not, how did it come to have the Assman wreath and FLL eagle?

This is a qualification badge for a pilot. There are other badges for crew members with other qualifications such as gunner or radio operator.

It has different manufacturers parts as a faker cast parts from whatever he had available then assembled them together. Probably put together back in the day when you didn't have to be overly compentent to make fake badges.
