    Transport & Glider Squadron/Transportflieger Clasp

Showing here my unmarked, Bronze Class example of this clasp. I like the design of this clasp better than the others, although they all have their own particular allure.

Interesting about this clasp is the name of the owner/recipient (presumably) written on the reverse side of the award. Can anyone read the name?

Also, is the maker of this particular clasp known?

All feedback will certainly be appreciated.

    John

          Hi John,

Gorgeous clasp, just lovely condition, especially for one with recipients name on it.

I too think the Transporter clasp is the best design of all the flight clasps. Just something about the finely designed eagle makes it stand out from the others as far as quality goes.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                    Thanks for the feedback, guys.

It would be a real bonus if only I could decipher the name written on the reverse and be able to research the recipient. As it stands, the intrigue of not knowing adds a certain cachet...for me at least!

                    Cheers,

                    John

                      Hi John,

I would post it in the documents section, those guys are used to deciphering old-font signatures like this.
