        Hi Ralph,

        Its a fine original pilot badge by FLL. A nice early example, but its been polished up so that there is hardly any original blackening to the obverse of the eagle (but you can still see it all on the reverse). The wreath was also polished up and you can see plenty of dried polish paste in the recesses.

        The wreath has some cold-shuts in it from the production process, perfectly fine in my opinion, but its interesting to see on an FLL badge. We usually don't see this on FLLs, but more typical to find on JMME badges.

        The rivets look a little messed with, possibly tightened up but all original IMO.
