    Juncker Para - hook question

    Greetings Gents

I have recently been fortunate to aquire a N.Z vet bring back Juncker FJ badge, so the following badge is now surplus.

I intend to list it on the e-stand, but just wanted to run the hook past the experts, is it o.k, reapplied or replaced?

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like a nice original Type D...?...in the para book. Judge by only the photos from the para book the catch looks a bit odd to me as well.

      Regards,
      Chris G.

I think Chris is spot on here, a textbook Juncker Type D, but with a replaced catch. Nicely done repair, but the shape and configuration of it differ from original catches.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

"a crook hook" or "a hook crook"

Either way, very nice and not one that I would mind owning

I can not believe that this badge did not sell

In my day given half a chance at one like that, I would have bought it.

My how the collecting of things changes over time,

I pretty much only buy in this market, only listed the badge as its now a duplicate in my collection.

It will go in trades or at a show when the time is right.

The E-stand is a shocker to sell, though a great place to buy at present.

"buy when everybody is selling" and "sell when everybody is buying"

Just amazing however, what does sell these days and what does not.

The reasons why are even more amazing,

                      Chris

Well in my experience,...each dammaged item (missing hook, repaired one,...) went for half or even less price as a whole one. Expecting more would have to be for realy rare item or in this collecting best times I guess. So it might be the price problem that didnt sell.
