    Radio Gunner badges

I am pretty sure I posted these before, they all these badges I kept when I sold most of my stuff around 1985. One has been repaired a long time ago, probably by the person who wore it. I think someone told me it was a Juncker J1.

Is there anything else I should know about them? Sorry for the old photos....my computer is still broken down and I am using the older one with the old photos. I cannot find the stuff to take new ones either because of the workers who left me with my room still a mess.

Oh, by the way, I am not fishing here.........they are not for sale at this time, don't even know what they sell for now anyway.

Well, if you were fishing, I'd like to own the cased Assman. That's something you should know

I'm wondering how someone missed the rivet so many times on the JMME (the tool marks on the wreath when they tightened the rivet).

I have no idea............just know it wasn't me. It was that way when the vet gave it to me about 55 or so years ago.

Sorry, shortly after posting these......around 5:00 pm here.....I got a call from my son that my wife and he had been in an accident and to get there right away. They were coming out from a local Italian restaurant in a small local shopping center when some guy hit them. Neither one of them, or for that matter those in the other vehicle, were hurt; however, even though our Chevy 1500 fan van is now in "the hospital", the van is doing quite a bit better than the Nissan that hit it.

I didn't get back until shortly before 6:30 pm, and, except for one short message here, I have mostly been dealing with USAA (my insurance.......best there is), and dinner. The insurance is squared away. The adjuster may be to see the vehicle tomorrow, they have made preliminary arrangements for a rental vehicle, of course they sent a wrecker and have it secured for the night and will take it to the repair shop tomorrow, and I have sent the photos of the accident on to the company (and will to the police as soon as they give me their email), and as soon as they get their report done....USAA will get that from them as well.

USAA is now available to enlisted and former enlisted personnel too, instead of just officers.....all branches of the service are welcome. It is USAA.com, all that and cheaper creditcard rates, banking services, plus I get a dividend back each year and it is cheaper than ANY other insurance company in my area. I do not get a commission from them.........just like to see people get the best deal they can, if they call qualify.

Thank all of you for the information........I will try to do better the next time, but, I really had nothing to do with the accident.

                Hi Ron,

Glad no one was hurt, very lucky with a side collision like that.

All very nice original examples. That early Juncker badge is gorgeous, even with the repaired pin.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
