unknown maker/...early type

I tend to identify this early bird as a J1 ...

Could I be right ?/

AGREE with Seb, a nice early Deumer in great condition.

Like many Deumer badges, very close design to Juncker but different enough to know you aren't looking at a Juncker. Also, the finish is different than Juncker PBs, its noticably smoother on the eagle's reverse.

Yes, Deumer first pattern pilot like mine in great shape but I beleive case is for early Juncker.
When I found my early Deumer Pilot & Observer badges the Observer arrived in an early Juncker case like this and the Pilot was in proper black Deumer case. I was told cases were sometime switched. The good news is black Deumer cases were also used for later Deumer badges as well so we could find proper cases with a bit of luck
