Observer - Real Or Fake?

Hi to all,

following I put an observer badge marked FRIEDRICH KELLE - OBERSTEINZAL, it has some good characteristic you can find in a good real one, but the eagle has not fine details and around can find fakes with this marker.
Some said is a fake, other is good ............................and you?

Some said never this marker has done observer badge, but is it possible that faker did these badges so good with an hallmarker nonexistent?

First of all, the wreath is copied directly from a Juncker.

Hi Ivan,
Unfortunately I think it's a cast badge,bad detail etc.
Maker is unknown to me and as Tim said,Juncker wreath and maybe Juncker/PM kind of eagle.
Change is very small that this is a real badge.

I'm with you guys. The first thing that struck me was that it appeared to be a crude attempt at reproducing an PM eagle.

The eagle looks cast definately. Totally devoid of detail. If I didnt see the brass, I would think it was cast iron, it looks that bad. It kind of looks like a 19th century windmill eagle or something.

Keller

Hi Ivan,
I have never trusted these badges marked Keller. I can say this, these badges started popping up around 1982 or so.

The detail is horrible and very blurred, which is typical of these badges.
