We have all bolo'd in the past selling stuff we should have saved for ourselves, but that's part of getting a grip to learning , so my suggestion is just save your money and pony up when you find the right one.
I have seen some pretty close silver exampes, and if by chance you happen on a sterile one for say 500.US dollars, and you want to use it to drink beer out of , or have your own name engraved on it, I say get one only if its quality made and only if you have to have a repro, but there are lots of the originals around to purchase guaranteed in the usa, but, Ive heard of people using them to put flowers in , and some folks who own them have several who do not collect.
I say hunt the woodwork, place ads, and the usual creative angles you do to locate one, and in less than a year I'll just bet you'll have one sitting on the shelf and one of respectable prominence for the winner.
Hard to imagine you wanting anything but an original of anything, but surprises happen, and good luck finding a worthwhile example. I suspect there is a few who have some they would turn here, but like losing yours, its more challenging to find a new one first hand , and this time, keep it for life.
