    A Crete surviving J1 Juncker para!

    Hi guys,

    This bugger went through Crete, made it through the war but sadly its owner didn't

      A true soldier! Certainly has the been-there look, great wear pattern and patina on this one Giel. Any info on the recipient and which units he served with? Must be one of the first paratroopers I would think with such a badge like this early Juncker.

          Hi guys

          Thanks for the first replies!

          I erased the photos of the lot for now as I need to look some things up myself. I didn't notice in in hand, but when I scanned and posted the badge I noticed there was a name scratched in the wreath.

          I was able to buy this whole lot which came straight from the family. The lot included not only his decoration but also his documents which I had to let go because the price went skyhigh due to the ehrekette which was also with it. I was left with this badge, ek1, ek2, a compas, shoulderboards and a handfull of mini's.
