Hi Steven,
Thanks for your closeup of the rivet. In my opinion, its messed with and looks to be re-rivetted. The reason I asked for this closeup was because the finish doesn't look right (to me) for an Osang clasp and seeing this messed-with rivet only confirms my suspicion that your clasp is likely refinished with new gold finish. It looks very thickly applied, especially on the obverse inside the leaves.
Original Osang gold finishes are more speckled in appearance, here are a few others for you to compare, which I consider to be correct Osang wartime finishes.
I have no doubt your clasp is an original, but I only question the finish.
