Para Badge hallmark?

Hi folks,
Has anyone seen a par badge hallmarked with a number 5? I have no photos of the badge.

Hi Jody, the only numbered badges that I can think of are the late, injection molded 'Assmann' types, marked 'A' over 'L/64 but the numbering is only '1' or '2' (found on the wreath)..

The number 5 was used by the Luftwaffe as an acceptance code but I've never seen it used in relation to badges..

Not much help, I'm afraid..

Think I saw one recently on ebay, the photos were not good so did not look particularly convincing at the time

Dear Jody,

I received the same request about that badge from a member. All I could offer him were these pictures of a para badge made by the "unknown maker", who also made pilot´s, P/O and observer badges. I believe it to be original.
Still, he said, his badge (including the "5" mark) looks different. I think we will have to wait until he provides pics.

reverse, double 5 mark. I do not believe this to be an actual maker´s code mark. More something like a production mark or similar.

Hi Frank, That's certainly a new one for me.. Have seen this type badge but not with the "5"... Most interesting..
