          Point

I see your Point. Some of the Classiest Harleys that I ever saw were covered in dirt and grease. I'm Happy that it's authentic. Thanks Pal, Butch

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and there are no mirrors in my house.
            Nice Meybauer

              Hi Butch,

I agree with the others, a fine original.

Original, but looks a bit like a Snufaluphagus, this can be treated though..

No and yes, the Meybauer is a "ugly" design, not quite, let's say a bit clunky, but on the other hand it a very solid badge, I wouldn't buy it when I had to choose, but that also counts for GWL, even when mint, the GWL is worse, a what looks like a fantasy creation on a almost Pakistany wreath, the only appeal is the shine and this shine is top dollar.
Assmann, not too bad, I like the eagle, but their wreath is a bit weak, nice badge though .., early ones..
Junckers are strong .., Deumer ..
Bottom line, I would prefere a Meybauer above a GWL, because the Meybauer still gives me a feeling of war, it has the looks, while the GWL gives a feeling of a cheap souvenir from a bling-bling shop.
The graphic skills of the GWL company were not that good, same with FLL, so in the light of that Meybauer's design isn't that bad.
Just moving back and forward a bit, based on how I see them..

                    Jos.
