    Luft GAB

Hi guys, please see my recent addition, an unmarked Luft GAB, I think it is an Osang, possibly with a repaired catch which is a neat job if it is. Any shine is due to a coating of vaseline from previous owner. Any comments appreciated.
    Cheers - Greg

      Hi Greg,

I agree with you on the catch. But I also think the hinge and pin could also be a replacement. And the rivet doesn't look correct for Osang, and might point to it (and the eagle) being a replacement as well. Note the poor fit of the eagle on the obverse (you can see a big gap under the wing), which also points to it possibly being replaced.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Hi Tom, there is a gap between the eagle wings and the wreath, it goes flush with slight pressure, good spot
