Indeed a good one, but the crack on the wreath, missing catch and worn look especially on the eagle's head, reduce the price heavily IMO.Comment

I agree with all: nice original worn J1 without catch and crack in wreath which would be secondary to me if price is OK. However as Hans pointed out not sure if it is only the way the picture turned out but there seems to be wear to eagle head detail that I would find more distractive, specially since the rest of the detail seems so sharp but these are not easy birds to find these days...

Been there badges like this are still very collectible, even if the wreath is cracked.

Dont worry guys. no crack there, only a factory superficial mishap with lot of patina. It was a beauty in my collection for years, and now will be in a new one.Comment
