This is the last badge from the three i was offerd. A wiedmann flak badge the pic's are bad i know asked the seller for better one's but still they are crap.

The reverse finish is darker than I would expect. I'd like to get a clear and full shot of the hinge to be sure this is an original badge.

I agree with Frank, the finish looks very suspect. Could be the quality of the pics, but the hardware also looks a little funky to me. I would see if you can get any more pics, especially of the reverse hardware setup and the Obverse in focus. If not, I wouldn't take the chance based on these pics, the fakes are just too good these days.

Hello guys,

For me this is a cast fake and maybe even a one-piece casting. I do not like the overall look of the badge and I agree with Tom D that the hardware looks very suspicious, especially that hinge and catch. Overall, the detail seems weak and the coloration of the badge looks very wrong. I don't like the beveled edges to the wreath outlines either.

The protuberance, visible at the top center of the wreath (circled in red below) is a cause for concern too. A Wiedmann wreath dips downward at the top center so you should never see any part of it sticking above the hinge. I would bet that this protuberance is excess material from the molds gating system.
