Unmarked Para Badge - Opinions please

Hi,
what´s your opinion on this unmarked Buntmetall Para Badge ?

It is the para badge of the "unknown maker", who also made pilot´s badges (the ones similar to GWL, designwise). These para badges come in zinc and Buntmetall, just as their pilot badge counterparts.

Looks to me like this para badge is a fake of the unknown maker. The hinge is too short and the rivets are too small.

Dear Yuri,

I thought about the rivets issue, which could be explained, IMO. I am sure the examples you are looking at are made of zinc. Those have the really big rivets, the Buntmetall ones have these smaller rivets. Secter states it is Buntmetall the badge is made of.

Hinges: I have other examples I consider originals in my files with hinges as short as that.

But of course I can be wrong!

In the Tombak examples that I have observed, the rivets are the large flat kind. Both Pilot, Pilot/Observer and Observer badges display this characteristic. The above badge would not be for my collection, because of the rivets and the hinge configuration. This one is just too different from the rest of them.
