Per Trev, this badge was in one of a couple of dozen Rikers cases full of badges, piled on top of each other, sadly many were not ones for our collections & there this baby was just sitting there, turned out it was the one Hugh used in his article below.
Nick, counting the double of this Gablonz (1st will have to go) +- 7 GP's now. A couple of more needed (Fat Eagle for one) and would also like to pick up a few different fakes to study/catolgue.
I remember seeing two of those in George Petersen's shop. I think they were about 2k each. One had the eagle soldered to the wreath, the other had rivets. I thought the price was high, at the time! Collecting hindsight. Stupid me.
