Golden Jäger FFS - with name

This one was under the christmas tree, I was delighted to see a name and unit written on it. Maybe someone knows something about the former owner. The II JG 11 had a tough job in the "Reichsverteidigung" flying Bf109 to protect the Fw190 from the allied fighters.

The Spange is without a manufacturer´s sign.

    Cheers,

    Jack

Gentlemen, thank you for your comments!

My interpretation of the writing is on top the Name "Schor" or "Schar" and below II / 11 which I presuma stands for II group of Jagdgeschwader 11.

The Spange has a chrome plated "bar" - any ideas who the manufacturer might be?

          Cheers,

          Jack

              Hi Jack,

Fine original Fighter clasp, very nice condition too.

The maker is currently unknown, but Juncker is the likely candidate based on the reverse hardware.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

But have I missed something? Bf 109s protecting Fw 190s?

Thanks for the supplementary Info Tom!

Ludwig, the Bf109 protected the heavily armoured Fw190 - which attacked the bombers -against the allied fighters, or at least they tried. The losses were tremendous. Btw, Mr. Rall was commander of II JG 11 for a short while in 1944.

                  Best regards!

                  Jack
