J1 Flak different models

Hello guys!

I have few questions about J1 flak badges.
They exist two different J1 flak badges one is real J1 and the other is so called transitional J1 ( wreath J2 and the eagle J1) am I correct !?
Which one is more rare ,production numbers, Year of production ..

As an avid Luft collector, you need to invest in Marc Garlasco's The Flak Badges of the Luftwaffe and Heer. The book is outstanding, and will save you mistakes ($$$) in the long run. Mr. Garlasco details all variations with excellent close-up photography and text.

All questions about the J1, and other Flak badges are answered. A must reference for the 3R collector's library!

The transitional badge had the 2nd style eagle and retained the 1st pattern wrerath.
