Just some friendly advice, but perhaps you should have shown the pictures before buying it. I hope you can get your money back.

      Cheers,

Not an expert on these very interesting badges, but I must say I doubt its originality very much!

Osang never made the Glider Pilot Badge. Known makers were Juncker and BSW. There are several other makers that are suspected to be Pre45 production, but Osang is not one of them.

              Sorry,
              Mark

Hello, Mark, its very useful info for me - I will not pay for it. Thank you very much. I am becoming collector of war badges - my main interest is collecting military watches.
                Thanks
                Boris

P.S.: Is it the wrong maker only reason for recognising this fake or can be found other?

The guys are correct that Osang didn't make GP badges. These are the ones I'm aware of anyway, maybe more??
                  Juncker
                  BSW
                  Unknown maker (fat eagle)
                  S&L (probably post-1945??)
                  Unknown maker (ball hinge???)

                      Hi Boris!
I tried to buy a fake Osang GB for a small amount to study, but the seller insisted on a significantly higher price.

This one is for 8000CZK -about400 USD - for studying too much - I think

                            Hi Scott,

I wonder who won it, from the auction at Manions? I agree, it looked promising in the images. Maybe if someone on the Forum owns it, they can post clean images!

Thanks Scott! I forgot about the Assmann GP from Manion's. I sure hope as well that a WAF member bought it and will post photos & measurements!
