U Boat badge, original? Help needed !

Hi all,

I was given this badge a few days ago and was wondering if it was real or not-The owner didn't know if it was authentic so he threw it in with the other Canadian items I bought. I also recieved a NSKK balloon badge which is also dubious.

Could anyone give me any pointers? When it comes to Kriegsmarine badges I am quite lost.

I too feel it's a repro.
