Original NSKK Balloon badge? Help?

Hi all,

I was given this badge along with a Kriegsmarine U-boat badge. The owner didn't know if they were original or not- I am guessing on the safe side they are not, but will keep my fingers crossed.

Could anyone give me any pointers?

It looks like someone has circled a maker stamp in red, left of the hinge?

I agree, based on the hardware, a bad badge.

Baloon Badge

Far be it for me to comment on the originality of almost any Badge. But I'll have to say on this one. The Reason being is that I had one of these at one time. it was a gift from a friend, the Damn thing stunk up the whole house! All the Best, Butch
