I did´nt want to damm the badge straight away, as I said, the nice brassy hinge looks good, although saying this I have seen some pretty good Luftwaffe Flak badges as copies displaying a very similar hinge. I definatley don´t like the fact that the hinge is 3mm though.
And as I said again in another thread, the rings around the rivets come from a guy hitting them with a punch, and some hit harder and some softer, just like the maker mark stamps theres always going to be a bit of differance,but look at the 2 examples shown,were the rivets have a ring the rivet head is also flattened, a good sign that he hit it to hard, on Richards badge they don´t look like this at all. Only thing is these new laser copies all show these rings and the vast majority of JMME/Junker badges have very clean round domed rivets, or were not then a flat head.Rich I think we need exact measurments and the weight although the more I look at the back the more I don´t like it.
