a friend offered me his collection and it constists a Air Gunner’s and Flight Engineer’s Badge from Deumer. Does anyone have expierince and a genuine piece to cpmpare ? Any opinions about the badge would be very helpful

this are not the only 2 badges i bought from this friend. He collected from 1974 to 1989 and now he will buy a new car and sold also a destoyer, minesweeper, CCC FLL, Kuban shield, Krime shield, coastal art, and some EKs .

Obverse Scan?

Hi Chris,

Your badge looks 100% authentic to me. If you can, please post a scan of the front of the badge.

As you know, many Radio Operator badges were converted to sole Air Gunner badges by removing the Blitzbundl. A scan of the obverse would reveal the large well defined 'gap' of the real (Air Gunner) talon, which was much more defined than on a 'converted' piece.
