While I'm no badge guy, I have owned a few of these. They were all alike and they were not like this one. I don't like it.

Dear Mike,

I am afraid I have to agree with John. Among the features I don't like on this badge are most prominently the eagle without his typical RK beak, the hinge, the makers mark and the wreath.

Just my opinion.

Unfortunately I think John and Pascal are right..

One of the main points is the fishhook beak originals have..

Here's a shot of a similar MuK 5 badge I've..

I saw you also have a MuK 5 badge ,so you can easily compare the style of the eagles and see the differences..
