I am not a big fan here, a side shot of the hardware would be helpful (looks wrong)! If original, the finish is probably enhanced (looks too good for a low quality zinker)!
If it's not zinc, then I would like it better!

The Finish looks pretty consistent from the backside with worn spots.

I think the hinge might have been repaired at some point, looks like it to me.

I remember this one, no signs for repair to the hardware IMO, but given the advanced corrosion of the clasps body (and pin), the finish looks too good for me to buy it, otherwise it does look original and tombac made, just can't buy that finish!

I know it hurts to hear comments like that, but if something's wrong, you've got to act fast

Lubo, I was thinking the same things that you have pointed out.
Hard to say for sure without seeing it in person.

this is tombak clasp, founded private,... it is very little cleaned without chemicals. It is not restored.
