Badge is original (unknown maker with ball hinge). Can't speak to the document but it's very graphically appealing!

I have not seen this style of certificate before but it looks good to me. We need a Hitler Youth expert to confirm.

        Best wishes

          Hi davx,

I agree with the others, the badge is most certainly original. The document is new to me, but this type of zinc badge make sense with the date shown on the award document of 1944/45.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

The doc is a certificate of service, so is not specifically connected to the badge itself.

              ..

Interesting combo can't say I've ever seen this particular document and as Simon pointed out it is not for the awarding of the actual badge.

Based on what I see it appears to be alright.

The certificate looks okay to me. They are documented in the HJ reference books. Here is one I have:

Both are good but as stated the document is not an award document for the badge.

                    Re: the doc

Yup, both look good as already said. Regarding the doc, my lufty flak was offered originally with the same type of document. While again as already said they aren't an award doc, it does appear that some original owners kept these together with them as a grouping.
It's a nice doc that for me adds a personal touch to the badge. Nice!
