          Are you sure it is a bronze class? It doesn't look bronze on my screen.

            Looks OK to me, but it looks more like a darkened silver clasp.

              I agree with Rich, it looks more like a dark silver clasp.

              I would never use any chemical cleaner on a Third Reich award but sometimes a quick wash with some soap/washing up liquid and water (applied with a soft toothbrush), followed by a dab with a clean cotton cloth and final thorough dry afterwards with a hair dryer can remove the dirt but leave the patina. I give all my clasps this treatment on arrival - for hygiene purposes if no other! It might help in this case too.

                Its not silver,more of a dull gold colour if any thing thats why I classed it as bronze.John
