Need help, offered this badge, to me it looks bad. If not all bad the hook looks replased/wrong to me atleast. Please help me with this.

I agree that it is a good zinc Meybauer, the catch seems fine too. It shows the same age as the rest of the badge.

Most of these zinc Meybauer Observer's are in pretty rough shape.

I think it is okay...seems the PM's wear in much the same way...here is mine and though less worn the pattern seems to be related.

Hi guys,

I agree, an original Meybauer but in pretty rough shape. Catch and plate also look fine to me, typical Meybauer construction IMO.
