Luftwaffe Beobachter in Stoff.

Here is a Luftwaffe Beobachter in Stoff. In used but overall excellent condition, this is a 'padded' type which has 3 small pieces of uniform wool fashioned into decreasing size shapes inserted underneath the black backing material, in order to acheive the 'padded' effect.

As allways, any constructive comments and opinions are welcome and I hope these images may prove of interest.

.....and an image of the reverse side alongside a shot of the lower part of the black backing material, which can be seen to be becoming seperated, allowing access to the 'padding' inside.

A beautiful period piece....It displays excellent craftmanship and the use of different colored thread on the eagle (especially the wings) really make this one stand out.
