    Cloth para badge real?

    I know these can be tough, but any info on this one being real or not would be nice. Thanks.

    That one is an original. It is a padded one with part of the paper backing removed.

        I agree, looks like a fine original to me, with some of the backing paper torn away.

          Appears it (Still )even has stitching around the edge from when it was removed from a uniform.

            Is it real

            I'm new to WWII military items collecting and have one question, In arrowhead collecting there are vetting experts who can verfy an item is real or a repo; is this available for this type of collecting.

              Absolutely so.
              The most knowledgeable are found on any of the topic categories.
              All you need do is ask,etc.
              This site is frequented by the serious collectors & a gold mine of information.

                Yep, it is good. A friend of mine came across two of these and promptly pulled the padding off. I told him that the padding belonged with the badges. Interesting that one of the pads was panzer piping pink.
