A nice original Assmann. Even without the obverse you can already tell its a perfectly textbook example. Assmann badges are pretty common, but yours has the more uncommon type of "?" catch, always nice to see and a bit rarer to find. Very nice badge.

Hi Robert.Sorry you missed out on the Assmann para but it happens to the best of us at auctions.Last summer I had a beautiful late war juncker Glider badge that was mine at Manions for about nine and a half minutes then the price flew up where it was way out of reach.I look at it as,at the very least, I owned a Juncker Glider badge,even if it was only for nine minutes.
