Super clasp and this type with the distinctive serrated outline to the wreath is rare in tomback. From the zinc clasps by this maker that have the sideways block hinge I thought FLL but I believe they have recently been linked to another maker- Deumer if I recall?

I agree with Patrick. I liken the shape of the wreath to a saw blade. I have only seen a couple in tombak.

Hi Michael,

Beautiful clasp, great condition and a keeper for sure. Excellent fire gilded finish, textbook example of this type of clasp.

Patrick, if you look at the reverse hardware of both the zink and the brass clasps, a better fit for the maker is Paul Meybauer in my opinion.
