Fake Para Meybauer?? !!!

Hello Collectors,

In an auction I saw this Para badge, offered as a nice original badge.

but IMO this is a fake, nothing is ok for a good Meybauer.....or am I wrong??

Hi Martin,

You are right ofcourse, this is a fake Meybauer. Firstly, original Meybaur's have only been found in zinc, and you can see the details of this badge are a good bit softer compared to an original.

Also of note are the incorrect rivets and reverse hardware compared to original Meybauers.
