    Assman Pilot observer

Got this one from a local gunshow a few weeks ago, thinking
about putting it on e-stand but want to double check to make
sure it's a good one. Pretty sure it is but....
Someone scribed their name and regiment hard to read 1??

                  Hi Mike,

I can only agree with the others, a perfectly textbook Assmann observer

                  Very nice!

Thanks guys, I knew it was an observer, but wifey was in a hurry
to go out to dinner, 1st time in a 6 months. Rough some times to
go out when you got little ones.
                      was typing and not thinking

I can totally relate Mike, have 3 little ones home myself. I can understand if your mind was wandering to some "after dinner activities" while the kids are away

Frank, you need to get some too my friend!

Nice! Looks to have "Merry Christmas" inscribed on the back?

...either that or Meurer KG 100

I do it all the time..... oh, you said thinking. Thought you meant typing while drinking.
Heck, I do both on a regular basis.

Can you make out the inscription under magnification??? If there's a regiment, might be a possible piece for research.
