      Hi
the picture is not very good but it seems original, late war production, with a very flashing silver wreath. the hook is normaly soldered in a rectangular recession.
      just my opinion

        Looks Good!

        Hi Christian,
IMO, a good late war badge! I have an identical B&NL
Air Gunner, but with the lightnings.

          Gentlemen,
thanks alot for your answers ! Eric: What are the dimensions and the weigth of your badge ? Do you thnik that the air gunner ... from B & NL is more seldom than from other companies ? In my mind the value must be higher than BSW, Deumer, Imme and
          Junckers value is.

              Dimensions

              Hi Christian,
The dimentions of my B&NL are as follows:
              WREATH: EAGLE: WEIGHT:
              53mm High 43mm wingtip 30 Grams
              41mm Wide to wingtip
If you would like scans, post your email here or send it to me in a Private Message and I will be glad to send you some.
As for rarity of the B&NL, I myself see it a lot less than the others you mentioned, except maybe BSW. Value? Pre and early war badges always command a higher pricetag than the later war badges because of the workmanship and the materials that were used then. My favorite is the early Juncker, just because the workmanship is unrivaled! Jmme a close 2nd because they worked hand in hand with Juncker and their badges are almost identical. You can't go wrong with the Deumer firm either! They are best known for their Air Gunner series of badges. I personally don't put a value on a badge because of the maker mark - I would be liar if I said the maker wouldn't influence me at all. But I look at it as artwork - the crispness of the wreath,
the correct dimensions, color, etc. When you look at an original it slaps you in the teeth! So, to me, the true "value" in a piece is what you're willing to pay for it!
