    Hi deejay,

What do you find annoying, that I am making this fake a little more known to collectors? If you read your original thread, many collectors thought it was original, including you. The one that started this current thread out was just posted up by another collector who thought that it was original. So apparently some people missed your thread on these from several years ago and I thought it was a good chance to bring it up to more collector's attention. I actually thought I was doing you a favor by not posting your name next to one of the other fakes I show in this thread as proof that the one that started this thread was a reproduction

Next time a fake pops up, I will be sure to give you and everyone else a shout who has been burned by a fake to see if they want to post an informative thread about it to help fellow collectors before I do.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

In two years nobody will remember that thread, maybe even not remember our names.............

So we all should use Lorenzo´s thread about fake para badges

      Take care and happy collecting

        Hi Tom,

Well written. In my opinion we "freaks" should always combine our strength to defeat the cheaters. I agree with Gerd.

                Tom,

Jesus, you try to help people and you get a dagger in the back!?!? You know how much money we could make if instead of helping these lazy morons we sold the fakes as real, included them in our reference books, and screwed everyone. I am amazed at the ingrates on this forum.

Doubtless, everybody will affirm this! So there´s no need for Mr. D. to act like a offended diva...we all love him

I only sent a link to a very informative thread by Lorenzo about fake para badges. Sadly that only a few of you ever particpated in. IMO just bundle the activities about fakes. Be sure you´ll detect them easier.

A note: calling other collectors lazy morons will not help you to stay honorable Mr. Garlasco! ...at least some of them are your customers.

                    Cheers

                      Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments Eddie and Marc, much appreciated. Its funny to see that something as simple as posting a fake badge to make everyone more aware of how good fakes are becoming has become so controversial

Gerd, I won't even entertain your assinine "diva" comment. I don't expect any thanks for these posts, especially from a has-been FJ collector. I do it because I love the challenge of this hobby and figured I can't be the only one that thought this badge was a VERY well made reproduction. We are all in this fight together against the fakers, so don't get your panties in a wad if I show a fake or two every now and then to warn some of the members of our great forum.
