it is a good Karneth piece, I´m not sure about the hook, might be a replacement or factory repair. Maybe you could provide some close up shots.

My opinion is exactly the same as Daniel's, looks to be a good Karneth but with a replaced catch. Closeups would tell us for sure, buthe bare brass color is not typical of Karneth badges.

Perhaps not textbook because of the catch, but it's still a beauty with nice finish remaining on the obverse!
