Hi All, Just joined a few days ago. Excited about my new adventure. Have a few Luftwaffe Badges i hope to share with everyone when i figure out how to post one. Right now am looking for a nice PO in Bullion. Any information on collecting one would be appreciated. Glad I found this site. Looking forward to sharing and swapping information. Its been lonely with nobody to share the hobby with. Best Regards, Nights Cross

Welcome nice to have you here. It can become quite addictive , so remember to keep taking the tablets. As for posting pictures its quite easy when you know how, its the quality of the pics that I struggle with

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think you will find that many guys here are extremely knowledgable and willing to offer their opinions and advice. We would love to see your LW badges, so please post them when you get a chance.

As to advice, the best and most rewarding way to collect is to do your own homework. If you have a badge that is marked and want to know more about it, please post it but also do a search (upper right hand corner of the site) and find out for yourself. Books are also a must in this hobby and when applied in tandem with the excellent knowledge of many experienced collectors on this forum will save you ALOT of money.

                Welcome and good luck.

                Tom

Mr. Durante is correct! If only the printed material, books, were available in the 60's or 70's, think of the knowledge we could have been armed with to combat the 'dealers'. Look forward to seeing you medals and your in-put. Take care! Dave.

                    Welcome KC!

Keep in mind that a bullion P/O is probably one of the toughest items to find and verify as being original. Badges are easy due to die characteristics. Bullion, there are lots of opinions, but nothing really concrete.

                    Best of Luck!
