Hey All,
I am picking this up from a friend, if it is good. It looks ok to me. What do you think??
Silver wash is strong on back, thinning on front, rivets look real late to me. Am I wrong, should I buy it?

looks OK to me for a late war piece. If to buy it or not would depend on the price for me.

Hi Terry,
If the price is right I would suggest you pick it up. I have seen this style many times before and have absolutely no problem with it at all. If you don't mind, I have taken the liberty of lightening your pics a bit to compare them to an almost identical 'Gunner that is on Bill Sheas' site " The Ruptured Duck" right now. The following pic shows that comparison - yours is the top badge and Bills' is the lower badge. I've not seen a marked one as of yet, so any guess at a maker would be just that - a guess.
