    Is this an original para or just a better quality fake?

    I'd say it's a sweet unmarked Juncker (3rd Pattern). I don't see anything wrong with it!

          Looks like a zinc wreath with a buntmetal eagle on it. Intermediate and qiuet unusual. Interesting.

            AGREED, a very nice original Juncker. Like Skip says, these were transitional pieces as Juncker made the switch to zinc around 1942.
            A very nice example.
