Pilots Observer w/ Diamonds Doc to Doenitz

I have this posted in photos and paper section but thought it would find more interest in here.

Supposedly Doentiz could not recollect recieving the award.

Better scans needed, especially of the signature. Of course something of this rarity should have provenance, and for Doenitz not to remember receiving it is a little strange.

I'll get around to posting them later today. The old ones were pretty bad but the new ones are much better. The outer carton and document holder are unquestionable, the document is where my concern lies.

There was apparently a pic found of Doenitz wearing the badge and was posted on some luft Luftwaffe forum a few years ago.

The document seems to be really a quality piece but I don't mess with Luftwaffe stuff and especially ones like this often. Matt
