LW Aluminium Assmann Breast Eagles (Summer Uniform)

Just received attached to a summer tunic with boards and tabs a summer "A" eagle. I remembered this old thread.

The eagle on my tunic is constructed EXACTLY like the "A" DRGM small print eagle in my possession with gilting still remaining to a general officer.

Based on what I am seeing above, there are BIG "A" eagles of various manufacture some of which may be post war but the one I have has the same hinge construction as Mr Evil Catt above.

Wartime Big A eagles do exist.

Yes, exactly, that hinge construction is exactly like my Big A and exactly like my small DGRM little A on upper right of reverse. These are for sure 100% correct. Maybe there are Big A Assmann's that are fakes, but not these with this hinge construction.

Comparison of the hooks .The DRGM is on the center ,the last big A is on yhe right side(note the base more high , this eagle has also the swas more flat then the others two big A and also the aluminium color is different it is more briliant)and on the right side is the already seen big A.
