Update - Detlev/Carsten

As most of you know, Detlev Niemann has shut down to pursue other interests for the time being. Carsten Baldes has picked up portions of the business including the Certificates of Authenticity (COA's) and will be updating his website on Fridays same time as I understand it. Carsten's old web site is down and there is a new one that looks amazingly similar to Detlev's. In fact. your username and password will work on this site just like it did on Detlev's. I can personally vouch for Carsten and rank him very high in integrity. Detlev made a good choice in handing over the baton. Please give him your support. Things may be a liitle rocky during the transition but will work themselves out. Here is the website but you will see there is no inventory listed yet. I understand that the customer's should recive an email soon outlining the transition.

I know this is not particularly Luftwaffe related but this is my home base.

I was able to log in also, but, found items for sale. I picked up a Juncker marked Tombak Glider, a B&NL Flak, and an early Assmann Double 'A' marked P/O. The prices seem lower than what I would have expected, too!

Well, an email did come today:

Down for me too...probably crashed. Poor Carsten, if he got just 50% of Detlev's customer's his server probably exploded

I tried to buy an item and haven't heard in a few hours, but it could be the time difference...I'll see.....reasonable prices IMO.
