          Dear Joe,

          Wreath and eagle are Berg & Nolte, while the setup is a bit unsual for them. But since the whole badge looks good I would say variation hinge and catch.
          Or am I missing something? You did not include a picture of the full reverse, is the eagle marked???

            Hi Joe,
            I agree with Frank regarding the eagle and wreath, definately B&NL. Regarding the hinge and catch combo, I have seen this before on a B&NL marked Air Gunner, although the eagle was different than the one on your pictured badge. The badge I speak of also appears to be buntmetall, wheras yours looks zinc. Here's a pic from my files that shows the badge I talk about.
            Original IMO nonetheless.
