Hey guys I need some opinions on these badges. Luft stuff is not my thing by any means and I plan on putting these up on the estand if I get them. These have been offered as possible trade fodder for some rings of mine. I need to know if they are legit and what they go for on the estand. Don't wanna pay too much as I wanna be able to offer these up for a good price to my fellow collectors on the estand. Believe the first is a short range night fighter badge in silver. Hate to ask for a value on threads like this but im kinda at a loss with these items. Feel free to pm me with a value if you would prefer to not post. Thanks in advance guys. Matt

The R.K. is a lovely clasp, but unfortunately the R.K. flat needle is missing and has been replaced by one of a regular zink clasp, hence the nail with head in the barrel hinge .
I didn't notice at first, but then I saw the copper solder and thought the needle had been broken and then realized it wasn't the heavy one piece R.K. needle ..
Think finding such needle is impossible, or one should offer his R.K Erdkampf needle to fix this one ..
Pity ..
Jos.

I know where they are from, the dealer doesn't matter to me. I buy original items, I could care less if I bought the clasp from a street bum, a forum member or Hitler himself. An original is an original regardless of who has it. I have a chance to trade into it but the replaced pin is a disappointment. Then again these are a bit hard to comeby, so im a bit torn. After talking with her, she purchased the clasp from the brother of the vet who brought it home. So replacement would have likly occured during the war, lets face it when you wore these clasps it was possible to break the pins. Look at the number of IABs, PABs, GABs we see with replaced/fixed parts. Again im not a luft guy but do you guys think it would be a decent price? It is a pretty pimpin clasp, I don't even collect them but I do like it. Matt
