      Dear Bill,

I don´t believe in this one more than in any other one of these I have seen.

-pin is magnetic and seems to be fluted (which is strange for an Osang), seems artificially aged (rust has new colour)

-Osang went on the clasps from triange hole to round hole and then to no hole at all on their very late spanges. Why should this one be triangle holed for a late clasp?

-grenade has strange proportions (stick is too long).

-reverse has a sandpapered surface finish

      -riveting most unsual

      Cheers, Frank

Great observations and remarks. This is just another "ILLUSION" that needs to be observed during the coming year.

Also, if this were real, being very late war I would expect it to be made from zinc. Looks like buntmetal. Nice but no cigar.
